Movie star MATT DAMON loves that he's go a pa again - because his new baby daughter has opened up his heart.

Damon's wife Luciana Barroso gave birth to the couple's second kid, Gia Zavala Damon, last month (20Aug08).

And The Bourne Identity star is sure that fatherhood has changed his life.

He says, "It plausibly influences me in shipway I'm non even mindful of. I think surely once you have kids it's hard not to see your child in every other child that you meet. And when you visualize the way a peck of children live in the earth it makes you identical angry as a parent."

Music has long been a crime syndicate matter for Alex de Grassi. Rage will rock Democratic convention

Tickets for free public presentation given away by lottery




NEW YORK -- In co-occurrence with the Iraq Veterans Against the War and Tent State University, Rage Against the Machine will play a free depict Aug. 27 at the Denver Coliseum during the Democratic National Convention.

The performance is division of the Tent State Music Festival to End the War, and will also feature Flobots, the Coup, State Radio and Wayne Kramer.

Hopper Complains He Was "Cut Out" Of Swing Vote

Dennis Hopper may seem to have mellowed substantially since his days as Hollywood's enfant terrible in the late '60s and '70s, only he is still capable of biting the hand that feeds him. In an question with the New York Daily News's "Rush & Molloy" chromatography column, Hopper complains that many of his scenes in the Kevin Costner motion-picture show Swing Vote ended up on the proverbial cutting room floor. Hopper, who plays a Democratic presidential prospect in the film, says that he "got cut out of the movie. ... My [character's ] subplot was completely cut. ... When I saw the final cut, I thought, 'I'm non even in this moving picture!'" Neither Costner, the director, Joshua Stern, nor the distributer, Disney, would comment on Hopper's ailment.

BBC to air long lost Beatles interview

Nine-minute chat between Lennon, McCartney





LONDON -- The BBC will air a long lost Beatles interview featuring John Lennon and Paul McCartney talking about the day they met and their songwriting partnership.
The film sat forgotten for 44 years in a garage in south London until film fan Richard Jeffs realized a piece of pop history was inside.
Experts were surprised to find the audio portion still usable for radio broadcast.
The nine-minute interview was recorded at the Scottish Television studios in April 1964 during the early days of Beatlemania. It will be broadcast for the first time on BBC Radio 4 on Tuesday and repeated later in the week.
On the tape, Lennon tells how he was playing with a skiffle band outside Liverpool when McCartney introduced himself.
